Good Evening.

Yeah, I kind of didn’t post at a reasonable time yesterday, so I’ll include that today…

Zebras, yesterday Meakin seemed to decide that the best use for the first 10 minutes of our ICT lesson was discussing Zebras. While interesting and entertaining, not the most productive use of time, hehe, not that I should criticise people for that.

Common knowledge time. As you all know, only a small portion of the human brain is actually exploited by our conscious mind. Who knows what the rest is for? The most likely explanation of it I’ve ever heard comes from Douglas Adams. The following is a short extract from The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul.

She passed the time quietly in a world of her own in which she was surrounded as far as the eye could see with old cabin trunks full of past memories in which she rummaged with great curiosity, and sometimes bewilderment. Or, at least, about a tenth of the cabin trunks were full of vivid, and often painful or uncomfortable memories of her past life; the other nine tenths were full of penguins, which surprised her. Insofar as she recognised at all that she was dreaming, she realised that she must be exploring her own subconscious mind. She had heard it said that humans only use about a tenth of their brains, and no one was very clear what the other nine-tenths were for, but she had certainly never heard it suggested that they were used for storing penguins.

On a relatively related note, that book is exemplary, if you get the opportunity, I recommend you read it, or its predecessor, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.

Damn it, going to have to add more categories for those books…

What else? I Googled ‘Greek alphabet’ and one of the first results for images warned me of malicious files, and repeatedly opened error boxes, and scanning my C drive. Fortunately that was at KE VII, so no risk to meJ. But yeah, look out for that, if you ever happen to be trying to learn the Greek Alphabet…

What else what else? Astartes Chapter 666 incoming. Those of you with ‘unnecessary’ knowledge will know what that means. More Grey Knights! And this time…

They’re plastic!

Well, partially ‘HUZZA!’, partially, sad face, less detail…

Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition arrived, which I ordered yesterday at about 02:30 am… good delivery, mostly because I forgot to change it from first class delivery… mother won’t be happy about that…

By deleting The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion DLC, Halo 3 map packs, Marathon Durandul… and probably some other stuff… what was I saying? Aah yes, had to delete that stuff to free up enough space to install Dragon Age DLC. So, I need £195.00 to buy a new Xbox 360 s.

If I say that enough time on here will one of you actually buy me one? Don’t think so… I might stop…

That’ll do for now.

Thanks for reading, Ta-ta.

Love Willski.
